INTERNAL SALES CONSULTANT– DURBAN A well-established company is looking for an experienced Internal Sales Consultant to join a fast-paced branch environment.

We are looking for a strong administrator with sales ability, who is confident handling customer orders, quotations, stock coordination, and client service.

Key Responsibilities

Process customer orders via telephone, email and walk-in clients

Prepare and follow up on quotes, invoices and dispatch orders

Manage back orders, stock availability and supplier orders

Coordinate with drivers and update the delivery board

Maintain accurate stock control and regular stock takes

Assist with new client onboarding and customer database updates

Follow up on outstanding debtors and client payments

Promote specials, product ranges and upsell the full basket of goods

Provide excellent customer service and resolve client queries promptly

Support reception and general branch administration when required

Requirements 3+ years proven Internal Sales experience.

Strong experience in:

quotations

invoicing

order processing

stock control

customer service

Experience with Pastel / ERP / stock systems

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to multitask in a busy environment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Professional and presentable

Advantageous

Experience in branch operations, logistics or stock-driven sales

Experience supporting a sales executive or external sales team
