Job Description In this role, you will support the smooth running of the lodge by ensuring guests feel welcomed, well cared for, and consistently experience exceptional service throughout their stay.
Preparing personalised welcome and departure information for guests
Managing check‑ins and handling dietary needs, children’s requirements, and special requests
Hosting guests throughout the day and assisting with any needs after activities
Ensuring all guest‑facing items and spaces meet lodge standards
Overseeing meal set‑ups and maintaining the presentation of the main area
Hosting mealtimes and ensuring seamless coordination between the kitchen and service teams
Working closely with waiters and department heads to uphold high service levels
Supporting other departments when neededPlanning and hosting engaging children’s activities and ensuring young guests are well looked after
Delivering warm, attentive service to enhance the overall guest experience
Experience Required
Strong interpersonal skills when engaging with guests and colleagues
Consistently delivers work of an exceptional standard
Excellent organisation and problem‑solving abilities
Shows initiative and confidently handles pressure
Maintains a professional, warm, and guest‑focused approach
Able to guide and support team members when necessary
Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and a proactive attitude
Solid understanding of hospitality operations and guest service
Experience hosting or managing in a lodge or camp environment
