Financial Manager, Durban

This role is ideal for a hands‑on CA(SA) who combines strong technical expertise with leadership capability and commercial awareness. You’ll play a critical role in guiding business decisions, strengthening financial governance, and leading a finance team that supports operational excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Taking ownership of the full finance function and financial leadership strategy

Managing and mentoring direct reports, ensuring strong team performance and development

Overseeing management accounts, reporting, and financial analysis

Driving budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Strengthening internal financial controls, compliance, and governance structures

Partnering with leadership to support commercial decision-making and business growth

Managing cash flow, working capital, and operational financial performance

Leading year‑end audits and external stakeholder engagement

Identifying and implementing process improvements across finance operations

Job Experience and Skills Required

CA(SA) qualification

3–5 years’ post‑articles experience

Proven management experience with direct reports

Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

Experience in operationally focused business environments advantageous

Strong technical accounting and financial control capability

Advanced systems and financial analysis skills
