Maintenance Route Controller, Durban

Maintenance Route Controller– BluPool Services We are seeking a highly organised, disciplined and proactive Maintenance Route Controller to manage daily pool service operations.

This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility role requiring strong attention to detail, clear client communication, and strict system discipline.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all service teams are operating efficiently, that client issues are handled professionally, and that no work falls through the cracks.

This is not a training role— you will be expected to take ownership and perform independently.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage daily technician routes

Monitor job progress and proactively resolve delays

Review service reports and take corrective action

Communicate with clients regarding service issues and scheduling

Ensure all job cards, notes, and follow-ups are captured correctly

Track outstanding work and ensure completion

Coordinate with field teams and elevate technical issues

Maintain control of daily operations to ensure service delivery standards are met

Requirements Minimum Requirements (Non‑Negotiable)

Strong administrative and organisational ability

Confident and professional communication (verbal and written English)

Ability to use systems (CRM / job management software)

Ability to work independently without constant supervision

Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability

Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure

Advantageous

Experience in operations / logistics / scheduling roles

Experience in maintenance, construction, or technical environments

Basic understanding of pool systems or willingness to learn quickly
