Procurement Administrator, Durban

Simbithi Country Club is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to support and enhance our purchasing operations.

• Facilitate the distribution and monitoring of F&B stock management in line with the standard operating procedures.
• Maintains accurate records of stock requisition registers to account for issued stock.
• Conducts daily, weekly and monthly stock reconciliations/ stock counts
• Assists in investigating stock variances.
• Records all orders placed on a daily basis.
• Ensures all received stock is properly accounted for, verifying quality and quantity.
• Maintains accurate records of stock deliveries and liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
• Follows the GRV process for recording stock received.
• Submits GRV, signed order sheet, and supplier delivery note/invoice to the Club Accountant.
• Ensures stock is packaged and stored correctly in designated locations.
• Verifies that recipes align with stock distribution and allocation.
• Adheres to cost-of-sales limits.
• Effectively manages the storeman to achieve departmental objectives.
• Performs any ad hoc tasks related to the role.

Minimum Requirements:
• Matric certificate
• Tertiary qualification within food and beverage/ procurement or related
• 3 Years experience within a food and beverage procurement department
• MS Excel Intermediate, Word, Email and Internet.
• Valid driver’s license
• Club Master package being advantageous, but not a prerequisite.
