Production Planner (Mobeni, KZN), Durban

The Production Planner is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining production schedules to ensure that manufacturing requirements are met efficiently, on time, and in line with customer demand and business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.

2. Align production plans with customer orders and demand forecasts.

3. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules where required.

4. Liaise closely with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and Sales teams.

5. Ensure timely availability of raw materials to support production requirements.

6. Track, analyse, and resolve production shortages, delays, and downtime.

7. Maintain accurate planning records, reports, and performance data.

8. Support inventory control and stock management processes.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Grade 12

2. Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Production, Operations, or a related field.

3. 2–5 years’ experience in production planning or factory planning.

4. Experience within manufacturing or FMCG environments will be advantageous.

5. Strong planning, coordination, and organisational abilities.

6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

7. High attention to detail with the ability to perform under pressure.

8. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

9. Experience with Syspro and MOM systems will be an added advantage.

REMUNUERATION

R25,000 To R35,000 (Negotiable – depending on experience
