Role and Responsibilities: As the General Manager, you’ll be at the helm of this vibrant, high-energy venue, overseeing daily operations and leading a dedicated team of professionals. Your leadership will ensure that each guest receives an exceptional dining experience from the moment they step through the door. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and managing front-of-house operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service at all times. Hiring, training, and mentoring a passionate team that embodies our values of excellence, hospitality, and attention to detail. Overseeing the seamless integration of our food, drinks, and service to create a memorable guest experience. Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and food safety. Managing and controlling the venue's financials, including budgets, cost controls, and performance metrics. Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, local producers, and the broader Melbourne community. Driving marketing efforts and enhancing the restaurant’s presence both online and in the local area. The Ideal Candidate: We’re looking for someone who is passionate about food, people, and hospitality:  You should have: Proven experience as a General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar leadership role in a high-volume or premium dining environment. A hands-on, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting. A genuine love for food and a deep understanding of the importance of sourcing local and sustainable ingredients. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. A keen eye for detail, ensuring every guest experience is flawless.
