Sonographer, Durban North

A well-established healthcare organisation is seeking a qualified and patient-focused Sonographer to join their professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and reports.
• Ensure patient comfort and provide exceptional patient care throughout procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Adhere to all quality assurance, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, specialists and healthcare professionals.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Sonography qualification.
• Current registration with the HPCSA as a Sonographer.
• Proven experience performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Strong technical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional, compassionate and patient-centred approach.
