Your key responsibilities as a Recruitment Consultant will include: Building and maintaining relationships with aged care facilities, hospitals, community health providers, and family and community services organisations to understand their staffing needs Proactively sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates across your chosen desk — whether that's nurses and aged care workers, mental health clinicians, or social workers and community services professionals Managing a pipeline of available candidates and matching them to roles and contracts across your client base Advertising vacancies and developing attraction strategies to engage passive candidates in a competitive market Coordinating compliance documentation including AHPRA registration, police and Working with Children checks, immunisation records, and mandatory training Managing offers, contracts, and onboarding to ensure a smooth experience for both clients and candidates Winning new business and growing existing accounts within your specialist area Prioritising and managing a fast-moving desk with multiple placements in progress simultaneously To thrive in this role, we're looking for someone who has: Recruitment Experience: Minimum 2 years in recruitment, ideally with exposure to aged care, nursing, mental health, social work, or community services, though we'll consider exceptional candidates from different sectors. Desk Knowledge: Experience managing candidate lifecycles, including compliance and timesheet management, is highly regarded. Industry Awareness: An understanding of the NDIS, aged care reforms, mental health services, or the family and community services sector in Australia will set you apart. Proactive Drive: You don't wait for the phone to ring, you build your desk through targeted outreach and relationship development. Integrity and Discretion: You handle sensitive candidate and client information with professionalism and care. Resilience and Adaptability: Healthcare and community services recruitment moves fast and requires creative problem-solving under pressure.
