Field Team Leader, East London

Job Purpose : To lead and motivate a Field Agent Sales Team,implement marketing strategies , and ensuring delivery against agreed production targets.To ensure a professional and quality driven service is delivered to our clients , by ensuring levels of service excellence is maintained , by coaching and leading agents marketing and selling Financial solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients.To mantain a customer portfolio and to ensure that all related queries and complaints are dealt with in a professional manner.

Minimum requirements

• Minimum age of 35 years old
• Grade 12
• Clear Criminal record
• Able to communicate , read and write in English and at least 1 official language
• Computer literate(Word, Excel,Email and Internet)
• Strong Management and Coaching skills
• Minimum 5 years Experience leading and Managing a sales team
• Financial Services Industry Experience and Knowledge
• RE 5 preferable
• Meet FAIS Requirements as per legislation
• Ability to cold call with a track record of customer relationship development
• Sound negotiation and presentation skills

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Field Sales Strategy to accelerate growth
• Management of appointed Field Sales Agents by driving growth, operational efficiencies and continuously improve performance
• Ensure adherence to all Company principles and policies including Quality and Compliance policy and terms
• Ensure training ,development and coaching of Field Sales personnel
• Liaising with branch and management ensuring sales targets are met
• Analysing current marketplace and feeding back important market & competitive information
• Planning ,executing and managing sales strategies
• Generating new leads and developing existing customers
• Responding to customer enquiries
• Work with the branch and regional management team to deliver improvements in brand engagement scores across different territories
• Carry out pre-planned , effective activity creating leads, generating and setting appointments and following up on appointments set.
• Work shopping Field Sales Agents on using new sales management tools to grow customer volume and value
