PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - EL, East London

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following outputs:

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Managing of Production Staff to ensure a motivated and high performing team
• Dealing with production data, admin and ensuring accuracy.
• Persistent and deadline driven.
• Establish the budget for mould expenses and equipment including the control of consumable costs.
• Controlling spares usage and costs.
• Partnering with Quality to ensure the correct standards in accordance with ISO quality system are maintained.
• Overseeing and assisting with training of all Production staff
• Working with Quality to ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures.
• Ensuring Proper housekeeping by maintaining a minimum score of 95% on the housekeeping checklist and 100% adherence to the dress code.

To be considered for this position applications must meet the following criteria:

COMPETENCIES

• N3 a minimum / N4 or higher preferred.
• 3 - 5 years experience in a plastics manufacturing environment.
• 3 years supervisory experience in a production, fast moving environment.
