Qualified Mechanic required for a company based in East London 

Seeking a skilled and qualified Mechanic to maintain, service, and repair go-karts and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in welding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, and repair go-karts and engines.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks.
• Conduct MIG or TIG welding repairs on kart frames and components.
• Ensure all karts meet safety and performance standards.
• Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
• Provide quick turnaround on repairs to minimize downtime.

Requirements:

• Qualified Mechanic (Trade Test/Relevant Certification) ESSENTIAL
• MIG or TIG welding experience ESSENTIAL
• Previous mechanical experience in motorsport, automotive, or small engines advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
