Description
Minimum Qualifications

National Diploma in Industrial Engineering or equivalent with a focus on plastic injection processes Minimum of 5 years in the automotive industry as a 1st Tier supplier to OEM Working experience with Quality Management systems and IATF 16949 Excellent computer knowledge and experience especially in MS ExcelGood communication skills verbally and in writing Working know-how on customer portals, e.g. B2B, SQMS/ PIA and IPQ Interpretation and understanding of drawing specifications to draw up product validation test plans RESPONSIBILITIES Represent the Company regarding quality engineering with trade partners and customersDraw up a product test validation plan according to drawing and customer specifications (typical EOM portals e.g SQMS/PIA, IPQ) Review and improve the effectiveness of processes according to internal and customer Travel abroad as the responsibility may require Ensure quality processes are followed according to internal leadershipComplaints management to customers (customer portal-based systems) and trade partners with meeting deadlines Perform audits as per the annual schedule Represent the Company at customers (status meetings, sorting actions, complaint management) Ensure quality processes for approval and other customer requirements e.g. engineering changesAbide by the Company's quality management principles, and standards and ensure these are continuously improved Support trade partners/ production in fulfilling the Company's quality management function Ensure product and processes meet customer requirements Implement procedures and processes that guarantee effective work methods, working to achieve the best results within the complete supply chain from suppliers, service providers and final on-time deliveries at an expected quality level to the customersEnsure quality standards are based on the business management system Actively participate and support the Company in improving the operational activities, principles Kaizen and cost reduction, supply chain improvements), CIP and effective problem solving (e.g. 8D/ CNC), 5S of the economization activities to ensure the operating targets are implemented and achievedManage the product quality planning and processes according to customer’s schedules and project launch activities Co-operate and support the interphases with the launch team (head office and local trade on quality-related aspects) Schedule and perform annual audits according to product life cycleSupport customers regarding audits, PPAP, and complaints and conduct internal audits during launch/ series processes Oversee implementation of corrective actions Actively support the process of maintaining company quality certification Participate in any committees as needed or directed Agree and implement quality-driven processes during the launch phase with trade partnersAble to work and interface with other global teams during project/ launch and series phases Train and support quality technicians at trade partners Support launch management activities as per the BMS process Compile and review PPAP documents and the quality planning phase Timely reporting and escalation as per key performance Indicators
