Lab Technician (Brick Testing), East London, South Africa

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quality control tests on raw material and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Education & Experience:

• Matric/ Grade 12
• Certification/ Tertiary (advantageous)
• 3 years' experience in a laboratory and brick manufacturing environment
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• Brick manufacturing background
• Capable of communicating findings, informing and documenting information
• Perform laboratory test on clay and finessed goods
• Monitor product quality and report any defects and inconstancies
• Record and analyse test results accurately
• Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and cleanliness
• Work closely with production staff to improve product quality
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
