Lab Technician (Brick Testing), East London

Job Description The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quality control tests on raw material and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Education&Experience

Matric/ Grade 12

Certification/ Tertiary (advantageous)

3 years’ experience in a laboratory and brick manufacturing environment

Basic computer skills

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Brick manufacturing background

Capable of communicating findings, informing and documenting information

Perform laboratory test on clay and finessed goods

Monitor product quality and report any defects and inconstancies

Record and analyse test results accurately

Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and cleanliness

Work closely with production staff to improve product quality

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Competencies

Willingness to work in a production environment

High level of accuracy and reliability

Willing to work on weekends and public holidays

Ability to work independently and in a team
