External Sales Representative (JB4271)
Remote: George, Western Cape R16 000 to R20 000 a month + Commission + Company Car + Cell Phone Permanent A dynamic company is looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven External Sales Representative to join their Team in the LED lighting industry. As an External Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling their innovative LED lighting products to prospective clients and businesses. Your primary focus will be on generating new leads, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of the company in the fast-paced and evolving LED lighting market.
Minimum Requirements: Related Tertiary Certificate / Diploma A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated sales territory Proven experience as an External Sales Representative Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities to establish rapport with clients A self-motivated and proactive approach to generating leads and closing deals Knowledge of LED lighting products, applications, and energy-efficient solutions would be highly beneficial Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced sales environment
Duties and Responsibilities: Identify and prospect potential clients, including commercial businesses, government entities, and contractors Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated with industry trends and competitorsPresent and demonstrate LED lighting products to potential customers, highlighting the benefits and cost-saving advantages Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches and proposals tailored to meet clients' specific needs and requirements Negotiate and close sales deals, considering pricing, terms, and delivery schedulesBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and after-sales support promptly and professionally Regularly follow up with clients to gather feedback and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-sellingSet and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as determined by the company Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, reports, and activity logs Present regular sales performance reports to the sales manager and contribute to sales forecasting Develop a deep understanding of LED lighting products, features, and applicationsStay informed about the latest industry developments, product advancements, and energy-saving benefits of LED technology Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies and promotional campaigns Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing, product availability, and timely deliveries
