Role Overview The ISP Sales&Activations Lead is responsible for driving fibre uptake, managing ISP relationships, overseeing sales channels, and ensuring seamless customer activations across the George and broader Garden Route region. This role acts as the commercial and operational bridge between the FNO, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), field fulfillment teams, estates/MDUs, and local municipal or community stakeholders.
The role ensures that network coverage translates into strong service adoption, high‑quality activations, and exceptional customer experience at the point of connection.
Drive regional sales performance across all assigned zones, suburbs, estates, and MDUs.
Develop and execute localized sales strategies aligned to build plans and go‑live timelines.
Manage direct sales teams, door‑to‑door agents, and outsourced field sales partners.
Monitor daily/weekly sales performance, ensuring targets for gross adds, net-active connections, and churn thresholds are met.
Identify high‑potential areas and design targeted campaigns to improve uptake.
Plan and execute below-the-line (BTL) activations, including mall activations, community events, and field campaigns.
Coordinate door-to-door, kiosk, and retail activations to drive fibre and ISP product uptake.
Ensure consistent brand presence and messaging across all activation channels.
Manage activation calendars aligned to rollout areas and campaign priorities.
Campaign Execution&Performance
Translate marketing campaigns into actionable field execution plans.
Track and report on activation performance, including leads generated, conversions, and ROI.
Optimize campaigns based on data insights and field feedback.
Work closely with marketing to align online and offline campaigns.
ISP Relationship Management
Serve as the primary commercial interface for ISPs operating in the region.
Collaborate with ISP partner managers on sales performance, escalations, installation quality, and customer experience.
Ensure ISPs are fully informed on coverage changes, wayleave progress, outages, and RFS (Ready for Service) timelines.
Support ISPs with regional activation planning and performance insights.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Network rollout teams to align activations with fibre availability.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth lead handover and conversion.
Support product launches and promotional campaigns.
Community Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with municipal stakeholders, community forums, and local organisations.
Act as the regional face of the FNO for service expansion, customer education, and issue resolution.
Customer Experience&Brand
Represent the brand professionally and maintain strong brand standards.
Gather customer insights and feedback to improve offerings and campaigns.
Reporting&Insights
Maintain accurate reporting on campaign performance, costs, and outcomes.
Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Provide regular updates to leadership on activation effectiveness.
Requirements
Completed grade 12 or equivalent.
Completed relevant tertiary level qualification is preferred.
5+ years’ experience in sales, marketing activations, or field marketing.
Experience within ISP or Telecoms industries is advantageous.
Proven experience managing field teams and activation campaigns.
Strong stakeholder management skills, especially with ISPs, contractors, HOAs, and community bodies.
Strong understanding of BTL marketing, lead generation, increasing update and customer acquisition strategies.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Garden Route.
