Senior Accountant

to provide support to our accounting team, and who will be designated to specific clients and handle the compilationof Management and Financial Statements for the clients.

KeyResponsibilities:

Processing invoices andbank transactions.

Reconciliation of bankaccounts.

Reconciliation ofdebtors and creditors.

Preparation of generalledger reconciliations.

Assist with Balancesheet reconciliations.

Preparation ofyear-to-date VAT reconciliations.

Completion andsubmission of VAT returns and payments.

Handling of BURS VATreviews and audits.

Provide accounting andclerical support to the accounting team.

Preparation ofmanagement accounts

Preparation of financialstatements

Prepare and compileaudit working files for clients that need audits.

Support duringindependent reviews or audit engagements of customers.

Review of junioraccountants’ work.

Monitoring the performance

Requirements

MinimumQualifications&Experience

Degree in Accounting

Extensive understanding ofaccounting practices and procedures.

Extensive knowledge ofPayroll Administration.

Extensive knowledge of theVAT laws and administration and VAT reconciliations

E-Services knowledge.

Basic knowledge of IFRS forSME.

Intermediate E-Filingknowledge.

Minimum 3 years’ experiencecompiling and Independent Review of Financial statements and compilation ofManagement statements

Previous experience working on Sage Online, Sage Pastel, Xero andSimplepay or similar online payroll software.
