Work model: Primarily in-office. If you need to relocate for the role, you can work remotely for your first 3 months, and then relocate thereafter.
Salary: R80 000 - R100 000 CTC

About our client
A global branding and marketing agency is looking for an exceptional Creative Director to define and lead their creative vision across client work, campaigns, and internal initiatives. You’ll guide a multidisciplinary team to produce brave, strategically sound work that’s built to last — and you’ll be hands-on with clients, leadership, and new business too.
What the job involves
- Defining and communicating the overarching creative vision across projects and touchpoints
- Partnering with clients to understand objectives, present concepts confidently, and refine work
- Leading, inspiring, mentoring, and growing a multidisciplinary creative team
- Collaborating with strategy, account management, and leadership to align creative with business goals
- Holding final creative approval and ensuring consistently exceptional craft and quality
- Managing timelines, budgets, and resourcing to deliver on time and within scope
- Staying ahead of trends, tools, and emerging tech to keep the work fresh and modern
- Leading new business pitches and presentations with clarity, confidence, and polish
What you need to be considered
- 5+ years’ experience in a dedicated creative leadership role (agency background preferred)
- A standout portfolio demonstrating exceptional, strategic creative work (campaigns, brand identities, and design systems)
- Proven experience leading pitches and presenting creative thinking to senior stakeholders
- Strong ability to set creative direction and bring it to life across channels and formats
- High bar for craft, consistency, and detail — with the confidence to make calls and elevate the work
- Strong people leadership: mentoring, feedback, performance support, and team development
- Solid project oversight skills (timelines, scope, prioritisation, resourcing)
- A collaborative, low-ego working style and comfort partnering across disciplines

- Bring experience across both brand and integrated campaign work
- Have a strong point of view on emerging creative tech and how it supports better output
- Can show examples of building team capability and improving creative systems/ways of working
- Have a history of winning awards
