Debtors & Creditors Clerk, George

Our client in George is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Debtors & Creditors Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing debtors and creditors functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the finance department with daily administrative and accounting duties.

Description:

• Manage full debtors and creditors functions
• Process invoices, statements, and reconciliations accurately
• Follow up on outstanding accounts and ensure timely collections
• Capture and allocate payments received
• Prepare supplier payments and reconcile supplier accounts
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
• Assist with month-end procedures and reporting
• Handle account queries professionally and efficiently
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments
• Perform general finance administration duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a debtors and creditors role
• Strong numerical and administrative skills
• Computer literate with experience on accounting software
• Experience on Sage Cloud will be advantageous
• Experience within the medical industry will be beneficial
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
