IT Procurement Officer, Rosebank

Your Daily Responsibilities Include:

• Procurement Fulfillment Time & Accuracy
  • Perform all monthly software renewals, MS and other software suppliers (CSP, NCE, Azure & SPLA,), processing, tracking and tracing
  • Obtain pricing from distribution & suppliers
  • Compile customer quotes within agreed internal margins.
  • Track & quote customer software renewals.
  • Procure product competitively.
  • Oversee delivery/collection
  • Reference goods received.
  • Manage warranties
• Vendor Relationship
  • Product & vendor knowledge
  • Distribution portals
  • Administer partner programs
• Team Interaction Communication
  • Distribution & Supplier relationship building.
  • Liaise with Operations Manager for opportunities.
  • Liaise with Finance on overcharges, shortages & backorders.
  • Liaise with Technical re-customer quote & order request.

      • Up to date on platforms used.

      • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
      • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
      • Staying informed about competing products and services.
      • Upselling products and services.
      • Track & quote customer software renewals.
      • Procure product competitively.

      • Reference goods received.
      • Manage warranties
      • Understand the needs of your partners and marshal the right resources with direct authority.
      • Apply and demonstrate a structured Sales Process utilizing solution selling and account management practices.

• Your Background and Skills Include:

  Essential

  • Matric
  • Diploma or degree
  • Previous experience in hardware sales and MS licensing is essential. Minimum of 3 years
  • You will have 3+ years of experience in customer relations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

  Preferable

  • Previous experience in hardware sales is preferrable
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Strong listening and sales skills.
  • Agility to respond to new situations by modifying your performance & adopting new skills and abilities.
  • Able to act as a trusted advisor in addressing our customer's business needs.
