Shaft Foreman, Bapong

Tasks and Responsibilities:
? Ensure the Shafts is operated in a safe and responsible manner to ensure compliance with the MHSA
? Coordinate shaft examinations and enforce compliance to MHSA MA Regulation 16.73
? Maintain the shaft bottoms
? Responsible for the logistics in and around the shaft area.
? Manage costs and overtime
? Control and lead shaft crews effectively and manage time and attendance
? Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act as well as adherence to the relevant Mine COP's, procedures and standards
? Be prepared to work shifts, do standby and work overtime as required
