* COM Rock Mechanics Certificate [for Metalliferous Mines]

* 5 years' experience in mining; rock engineering or strata control Demonstrated ability to meet technical and responsibility requirements of the legal appointment.

* Member of the professional body (SANIRE)

* Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical
examination at the relevant Occupational Health Centre

Advantageous requirements:

* BSc or Btec Degree / National Diploma in Mining Engineering or Geology
* Working knowledge of Critical Controls, Bowtie Analysis and FOG Management systems
