Description
My client in Bedfordview is looking for an Airfreight Controller (Import, Export and Cross Trade)

R32 000 CTC per month

Minimum requirements:
  • Coordinate full airfreight processes from initial booking to final delivery.
  • Prepare and process export/import documents, including AWB, declarations, transporter instructions etc.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, providing regular status updates, tracking information, and resolving shipment delays or issues.
  • Liaise with airlines, origin and destination agents, handling agents and transporters to arrange cargo collections / deliveries and bookings.
  • Handle internal costings, file register and negotiate airline rates when necessary, and manage accurate client invoicing via CargoWise.
  • Possess a good understanding of Incoterms, Customs and import / export procedures.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications especially Outlook and Excel
  • CargoWise experience essential.
  • Good understanding of DRG and Part 108.
  • Group A (previously CAT6) Certification beneficial
