Operational Accountant, Germiston

Duties & Responsibilities

Supervise Accounts Payable and assist with Accounts Receivable Review and approve financial transactions for accuracy and compliance Manage creditor reconciliations and resolve escalations Compile and submit VAT returns Maintain Fixed Asset Register and perform asset accounting Prepare financial reports and perform variance analysis Ensure compliance with SARS, VAT, and tax regulations Assist with stock takes and inventory processes Support internal and external audits Participate in system implementations and finance projects

Minimum Requirements

BCom Accounting or relevant qualification 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role Experience in retail or distribution environment advantageous, but is not required Experience working on multiple accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) Advanced Excel skills
