The Role: Millwright This role is central to maintaining and improving manufacturing equipment across the plant, from production machinery to warehouse systems. The Millwright will drive automation initiatives, support capital and non-capital projects, and ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards. It's a dynamic and hands‑on role ideal for someone proactive and solutions‑driven.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance.

Execute and improve the planned maintenance system and update technical documentation.

Drive automation improvements, including PLC programming and AC/DC drive configuration.

Assist with capital and non‑capital project execution, including equipment commissioning.

Perform job costing, material requisitions, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Maintain accurate job card documentation and report on maintenance activities daily.

Ensure all work meets SABS/SANS 10142‑01‑2012 standards and includes COC where required.

About You

Red Seal qualified Millwright with N4 Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of mechanical and electrical experience.

Strong background in hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC systems.

Proficient in fault‑finding, panel wiring, and understanding of electrical drawings.

Computer‑literate with knowledge of MS Office and maintenance systems.

Able to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.

Willingness to be on call and work weekends when required.
