Maintenance Manager

Hire Resolve’s client in the plastic manufacturing industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their team in Gauteng. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure optimal productivity and equipment uptime. Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and reduce costs.Manage the maintenance budget, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Coordinate with production managers to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to production. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among maintenance staff.Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source necessary spare parts and equipment. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure maintenance team performance and identify areas for improvement. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology.Provide guidance and training to maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Requirements: Previous experience as a Maintenance Manager in a plastic manufacturing facility. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of plastic manufacturing equipment and processes. Strong leadership and management skills.Proven ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred). Salary:
