Financial Manager

Location: Edenvale, Johannesburg

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Financial Manager to take ownership of accounting, reporting, and internal control while supporting integration into a global group. This role is ideal for a professional with strong IFRS knowledge, cost and inventory focus, and the ability to provide business analysis and decision support. The successful candidate should be available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for accounting, financial reporting, and closing processes in line with IFRS and statutory requirements

• Ensure high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with reconciliations and documentation

• Safeguard strong internal controls and compliance with policies and regulations

• Act as the main accounting contact with group finance functions

• Manage cost and inventory accounting, analysis, and follow-up

• Take ownership of asset management, inventory control, and working capital monitoring

• Provide financial analysis and business performance support to management

• Prepare and present Business Reviews and Company Reviews

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects

Qualifications & Experience:

• Solid experience as a Financial Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar role

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory accounting, and internal control

• Background in cost and inventory accounting, preferably in a product/manufacturing environment

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; Chartered Accountant advantageous

• Proven ability to deliver accuracy and meet deadlines in a structured manner
