Warehouse Operations Supervisor, Humansdorp

Description

Key Performance Areas:

Oversee daily warehouse operations (receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch)
Ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment
Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts and audits
Lead, coach, and manage warehouse staff performance
Enforce health, safety, and compliance standards (including FIFO)
Drive process improvements and monitor key KPIs
Utilise WMS/ERP systems for reporting and operational control
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations

Skills and Knowledge:

Tertiary qualification in Logistics/Supply Chain/Operations or related field
3–5 years warehouse experience (FMCG preferred) with 1–2 years supervisory experience
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Proficiency in WMS/ERP (Dynamics BC preferred) and advanced Excel
Solid knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and health & safety
Proven track record in inventory control and operational efficiency
