Level 2 Engineer - Citrix Endpoint Management - Contract, Johannesburg

Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Level 2 Engineer/ Data Analyst - Citrix Endpoint Management to join their team in Johannesburg on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, attractive rates and a great working environment.

As a Level 2 Engineer you'll be responsible for the analysis of data and information within the company. You will work closely with other teams to gather, cleanse and make sense of raw data so that it can be used by other departments or in further analysis. You will also help ensure that systems are configured correctly and securely, as well as ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. In this role, you may liaise with architects on matters such as building plans or design changes within a set timeframe. You should have previous experience in one or more analytics related roles (such as analyst).

Requirements

1. Prevent internal threats & data exfiltration attacks
2. Track & model individual User behaviors across enterprise
3. Identify and aggregate User Risky behaviors into Risk Profiles
4. Integrate All systems and build behavior rules
5. Setup triggers to trap fraudulent activity learned from modules and report
6. Protect Applications from external attacks
7. Track, access, and rank applications based on risks
8. Suggest mitigation steps to enhance security
9. Build applications usage profiling to create risk identifiers to trigger
10. Prevent internal threats & data exfiltration attacks
11. Track 'sensitive files' via DLP engines
12. Analyze data usage and behavior around data to enhance management of the data usage and to build triggers on strange behavior

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field required
2. 5 years of experience in software engineering, technical writing and/or system administration, with a strong background in data warehousing.
3. A strong understanding of the Citrix platform is required.
4. Experience in working with and/or designing complex applications and web services preferred
