Digital Designer (iGaming), Johannesburg

An award winning, cutting edge and innovative online casino is looking for a talented and experienced Digital Designer to join their exciting creative team in Cape Town. You will be working for a global brand and an increasing number of national brands as they grow. You will be integral to the development and delivery of the brands creative output. Your key job responsibilities as the Digital Designer (iGaming) in Cape Town will include:

• Proactively generate ideas for the brand, visualise and present to the wider team
• Design and build animated display banner campaigns using Adobe Animate/ Banner-flow
• Design static website hero banners, animated/static programmatic display banners, CRM banners, web landing pages and after effect animations for social media digital banners
• Design creative in print work (branded merchandise, direct mailers etc.)
• Collaborate with team members as a designer
• Pragmatically approach projects to ensure both creative and business needs are met
• Presenting of ideas internally
• Regularly collaborate with marketing/social media department
• You will collaborate on projects with teams as a designer but also act to ensure that creative and innovative standards are upheld, and creative boundaries pushed

Requirements for this Digital Designer (iGaming) job in Cape Town:

• 3+ years' experience designing/ building/ producing digital static and animated display and social banners, web banners, banner-flow webpages & banners within a fast-paced design studio environment
• Strong digital ideations skills and used to developing visual concepts mainly on your own, but occasionally with copywriters
• Basic understanding of UX/UI design principals
• Experience using Adobe Animate for html5 banner exports as well as Banner-flow & After Effects is a pre-requisite for this role
• You will have a solid portfolio and show a diverse range of styles, skills and creative abilities.
• Basic software requirements: Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Animate, After Effects, InDesign
• Experience using Banner-flow
• Basic html knowledge would be an advantage
