Freedom Won has an opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for analysing existing electrical systems
and making cost-effective improvements, conducting research, designing testing methods, completing quality assurance, inspecting
the equipment, running diagnostics, as well as training new hires. You should ensure projects are completed on time and to
specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Developing, reviewing, updating, modifying, and approving electrical design plans and work schedules.
• Liaising with clients and other engineers to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
• Establishing relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, other professionals, and expanding networks.
• Maintaining and improving existing engineering processes.
• Participating in conferences, events, and networking and learning opportunities.
• Drawing up budgets, schedules, company regulations, and various other documents.
• Analysing existing processes and scheduling meetings to discuss improvement initiatives.
• Conducting research, performing diagnostics, and troubleshooting equipment.
• Travel to project sites from time to time to gather site-specific data, as required.
• Site assessment and analysis both from on-site data collection and network tools.
• Contributing to or writing technical papers.
• Perform electrical system modelling including short circuit, load flow, arc flash, cable trench thermal ampacity and step/touch potential.

Skills and Experience:
• BSC in Engineering – Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in Software Engineering advantageous.
• 5+ years' experience in DC power control and circuit design, including schematic capture and board layout.
• Extensive practical experience.
• Passionate about renewable energy and experience in the industry.
• Experience working with Invertors.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Practical experience with CAD software.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Excellent motivational skills and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with AC or DC-coupled energy storage for large-scale renewables.
