Requirements:

 

B-Degree in Human Resources Management (non-negotiable)

Post Graduate will be advantageous

10 – 15 years applicable experience (5 years EXCO)

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of the HR Strategy.
  • Provides strategic direction and structure to the HR Department in terms of its role and deliverables.
  • Plays a meaningful and strategic role as a member Exco.
  • Provides advice and feedback to the Remco and Exco on strategic HR related matters.
  • Ensures the compilation, implementation and maintenance of all HR related strategies and polices (Recruitment, Talent management, Career pathing and Succession planning, Performance management, Change management, Remuneration and Recognition) for present and future needs of the company are in place.
  • Responsible for driving organisational culture and the determination of appropriate organisational effectiveness solutions to meet short- and long-term business needs.
  • Ensures the compilation, implementation, and maintenance of an Employment Equity Plan.
  • Ensures the submission of annual reports to the Department of Labour (WFP, EE Plan).
  • Assists the Transformation Executive with regards to all BBBEE related issues to ensure the business meets its BEE targets.
  • Provides advice on all ER related matters to EXCO and the Board when necessary.
  • Obtains and/or provides mandates for all ER negotiations and disputes.
  • Responsible for monthly HR reporting and compiling of quarterly report for Exco and Remco.
  • Develops the annual budget for the HR Department.
  • Considers and/or approves all section/unit-related expenditure.
  • Checks the payroll monthly in conjunction with the CFO.
  • Manages the annual increase process in conjunction with the CFO.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to all staff and Exco, Board on all HR related matters.
  • Ensures that all HR related risks are identified, assessed and that adequate and effective risk mitigating measures are implemented.
