Production Engineer/Machine Operator, Johannesburg

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for supervising and improving production
• Designing, developing and enhancing electromechanical systems and mechatronic devices
• Creating automated systems and software to control them
• Developing design documents for mechanical parts and final products
• Identify areas of weakness in the production line or finished products and submit recommendations to management.
• Support Engineering Teams
• Draw up safety protocols
• Improve efficiency
• Provide on the job Coaching and Mentoring in the responsible use of machinery
• Troubleshooting and fixing of machinery

Requirements :

• BSc in Mechatronics engineering or similar
• Strong analytical, mathematical and creative thinking skills
• Experience with CAD
