Senior Software Developer, Johannesburg

An exciting opportunity exists in a Business Solutions Sector for a Senior Software Developer to design, build, test and deliver quality code and products, co-operate with the standards and the time frame of the company and will be reporting to Team Lead Development.

Relevant qualifications

Relevant qualification would be an advantage – B.Sc. Computer Studies, B.Eng. Computer, Electronics.

Reporting Structure

Report to Team Lead, Development

Knowledge and skill

(approx. 6 years experience)

· Proficient in understanding and working with the following coding languages: C#, SQL, JavaScript, HTL.

· Knowledge in technologies: ASP.NET, MVC, ANGULAR JS, WEB API, WCF WEBSERVICES, WCF WINDOW SERVICES.

· In-depth technical knowledge and application in the following:

o System analysis and design

o System architecture

o Standards and governance

o Testing practices

o Scrum / agile methodology

· Troubleshooting techniques and problem diagnosis.

· Mobile knowledge and experience would be an advantage but is not the focus of the role.

Key Performance Indicators

· Company Standards -to ensure the delivery of quality code and products, on time, and aligned to the project specification.

· Testing and debugging code before live implementation to ensure fully functional systems, where regression testing is possible with zero defects.

· Customer support to ensure the prompt communication and resolution of technical issues, according to the support SLA.

· Timeous and accurate documentation and administration.

· Be responsible for the life cycle of projects assigned to you.

· adhoc basis, deliver development projects through leading the coordination of available resources.
