Data Graduate, Johannesburg

The Data Graduate resource will be responsible for the support and assisting the team where needed. The graduates will follow instructions according to the Team Lead/Line manager.

Primary Responsibilities for the Role

The Data Graduate resource will be responsible for the following duties:

• Required to assist in the development of Data related processes.
• The candidate will reports directly to a senior member of the EPM team.
• Clear understanding of Database structures.
• Ability to troubleshoot any issues which might occur in terms of system and data.
• Ability to work under pressure

• Understanding of complex data sets
• Ability to work with CSV and Text based data sets
• Microsoft SQL Skills (e.g. SELECT, UPDATE, DELETE and JOIN statements)
• Ability to converse both to business and technical stakeholders
• Understanding of multidimensional models (hierarchies, dimensions, etc)
• Understanding of Business Intelligence
• Basic understanding of the concept of ETL processes
• BCom in Informatics, BSc In Informatic, or related degree
