PRODUCT OWNER - Collections Platform, Johannesburg

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the building of products that clients want and need and guide the team around knowing the sequence/priority in which to build these products, ensuring they are successful and innovative in the market.

Primary responsibilities:

• Optimise all elements of the product through prioritising, coordinating, and driving systems development work with the development team.
• Responsible for steering the development, improvement, and changes to our collection platform in the right direction.
• Work closely with our implementation, analyses, and inhouse development teams to translate functional requirements into technical/workable requirements.
• Measure, evaluate, and improve product performance.
• Progress reports/meetings.
• Track trends to contribute to the product roadmap that will ensure customer satisfaction.
• Product strategy development based on facts and initiative.
• Work across internal functions to ensure the alignment of targets and goals.

Requirements:

• Relevant Degree or Diploma
• Knowledge of the product lifecycle with at least 5 years experience in the payment solutions industry with a focus on collections.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Ability to make decisions and take the lead.
• The ability to back your decisions with facts.
• Performance and customer service driven.
