Logistics Team Leader, Johannesburg

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the activities of shipping, receiving, and warehouse
• support overall performance and efficiency by developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) throughout shipping, receiving, and warehousing cycle
• manage inventory levels, ensuring that changes in inventory are promptly and accurately recorded in internal supply chain systems. In the case of an inventory discrepancy, logistics team leaders confer with team members and across departments to determine the source of the issue and resolve it.
• Must be able to successfully delegate work
• Responsible for Drivers delivery schedule
• Responsible for weekend schedule
• Needs to ensure safe and clean working environment

Requirements

• Min 5 years' experience
• Must have management skills
• Matric certified
• Tertiary education o Logistics and Stock control is a bonus
• Punctual
• Must have windows office experience
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
