ESB Developer, Johannesburg

Duties are subject but not limited to:

• Developing and maintaining source codes, unit and system testing their code, building high quality application solutions to design specifications, standards, and user requirements by developing and testing components in an iterative manner through an Agile process
• Collaborate with the Designer, Technical Lead , Business Stakeholders and Systems Integration partners throughout the development and delivery lifecycle to ensure that the code meets technical design frameworks, requirements and best practices
• Capturing / analyzing / negotiating / clarifying requirements
• Participating in the creation and execution of development and implementation plans
• Designing technology solutions to meet requirements
• Coding executable components that comply with the overall solution
• Testing the executable components and assisting with the coordination of the overall testing effort
• Producing and maintaining relevant solution documentation

Requirements

• Relevant IT Degree
• Banking/Insurance industry experience
• 3+ years of software / application design and development experience in a true Agile / Scrum / XP environment with proven skill and effectiveness in the use of Agile SDLC methodologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
