Crop Campaign Lead, Johannesburg

Minimum requirements for the role:

• A tertiary qualification in Agriculture or Business or Marketing or related
• In depth knowledge of the Agricultural industry
• Must have experience in the application of crop agronomics and technologies and understand its contribution to the financial drivers of a grower's business
• Good understanding of key marketing and sales processes
• Understanding long term technical concept positioning whilst being able to deliver upon short term campaign imperatives
• Knowledge of marketing practices and the use of different media in developing effective and efficient campaigns would be preferred

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing crop campaigns designed to achieve the growth and revenue goals of the organisation
• Designing detailed campaigns, including high level content defined together with asset marketing and sales
• Liaising with marketing services and external agencies in relation to content generation and execution
• Translating offers to customer (channel or grower) needs and detail, including delivery plans, pricing and commercial policies
• Providing regular feedback on campaign implementation status and KPIs progression
• Working closely with the Marketing Services team and managing the advertising and promotional spend budget for the assigned crop
• Supporting the necessary activities to ensure business continuity during the transition
• Supporting the Sales team in customer engagement where required
• Supporting the integration of the CP and SE marketing teams, defining new processes of working and fostering mindset change

Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience.
