Graphic Designer (6month contract), Johannesburg

The role/company:

A corporate in-house digital and print design role reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer within the shared group marketing team.

The job:

• Design and ship top-quality digital/print products in a fast-paced environment.
• Copywriting
• Manage internal clients and handle conflict
• Take direction from written or spoken ideas/briefs and convert them seamlessly into high-impact/meaningful designs/communications.

The candidate:

• Passion and focus on creating a great user experience
• Self-management and motivation essential i.e. ability to multi-task, thorough attention to detail
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks and time
• Communicate effectively
• Intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work

To qualify:

BA Degree/2-Year Diploma in design, proficient in Adobe CC [PS/AI/ID/DW], MS Office, ability to read and write simple HTML/CSS. Minimum 4 years' experience in similar role/environment.

Digital marketing, web development or CMS experience (eg Wordpress) and HubSpot knowledge advantageous.
