Operations Executive, Johannesburg

Main areas of responsibility:

• Interaction with members of the cluster executive as part of the company executive committee and advising the chief executive officer on operational matters.
• Management of the various teams as outlined below in the diagram.
• Monitoring, driving and reporting on operational performance.
• Development of and overseeing the implementation of best practice systems and procedures and the formulation of improvement plans
• Executive control of the procurement of all inputs and packaging including personal responsibility for the management of key suppliers.
• Control of all conversion costs including yield and waste management as well as overheads and budgetary control.
• Responsible for ensuring that a high level of outbound service levels is maintained.
• Performance management and establishment of appropriate metrics and KPI's, for areas under this positions control.
• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety legislation as well as other legislative operating requirements.? Stock management, stock control and planning.
• Ensuring efficient plant operations.
