Qualification:

B.Com Accounting, CPA, MBA or relevant tertiary qualification

Skills & Experience:

At least 3 - 5 years of related experience in multinational environment in a senior accounting role.

Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required.

Proficient knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.

SA citizens only.

• Points of inter-connect with India on Africa operations

• All staff of Africa Business
• Staff members of other entities (India and China)

Job Description:

Drive processes and controls in corporate accounting and develop MIS to cater to both local

business needs and overseas monthly reporting. Responsible for accounting, book closing and

monthly reporting and assist in Internal and Statutory Audit. Drive operating efficiency and margin

improvements through review of operating expenses, project costs/budgets, etc. and liaising with

local consultants to meet local statutory requirements.

• Financial planning and monthly rolling forecast
• Monthly reporting of results to parent organization
• Preparation and analysis of Management reports with suitable recommendations
• In charge of monthly accounting
• Compliance with statutory requirements & returns
• Maintaining record of sales pipeline, orders, customer price quotes
• Implementation of accounting policies and monitoring of internal controls
• Knowledge of Accounting system and tax related regulation
• Updating and maintaining records for Capex. Includes preparation and issuance of monthly Project Activity reports
• Managing accounts receivable and customer collections
• Monthly information reporting to support management decision making
• Special projects
