Job: Client Executive Retirement, Johannesburg

Mercer Marsh Benefits has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Client Executive: Retirement to join our team based in Sandton.

The position offers an exciting challenge and career opportunity for someone with a proven background within retirement fund consulting looking to join an established team with a market leading insurance broker.

This is a full-time role and you must be able to attend the office a minimum of 3 days a week including Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.

We will rely on you to:


Consult to a portfolio of clients
Provide appropriate advice, excellent client service and project management to ensure the smooth running of the client base
Establish strong relationships with key decision makers, management committee members and service providers
Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are on file and services align with their terms
Develop an annual year plan for each client and adhere to deliverables
Review agendas for management committee meetings and ensure distribution in line with SLA
Attend management committee meetings and other ad hoc meetings as required
Review minutes of meetings and ensure that they are distributed in line with SLA
Action matters arising from meetings timeously
Review and present risk and administration re-marketing exercises
Negotiate with insurers/service providers
Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
Ensure timeous response to queries from colleagues
Update internal management systems
Attend regular team meetings with team to discuss workflow and problem areas
Coach and develop of junior team members
Assist in formulation and implementation of best practice






What you need to have:


Experience in a retirement fund consulting role
Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (or equivalent) Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
RE 05 (Representatives Exam) - Passed
FAIS compliant
