We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Afrikaans Consultant to join our team in the insurance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries, assisting with policy-related concerns, and delivering product solutions in Afrikaans. The role requires fluency in Afrikaans, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of insurance products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Support: Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and live chat inquiries from clients in Afrikaans, providing accurate information and resolving queries efficiently.

Policy Assistance: Assist clients with understanding insurance products, policy terms, claims processes, and coverage options in a clear and professional manner.

Sales Support: Promote relevant insurance products based on customer needs, while ensuring the best fit and offering appropriate recommendations.

Claims Handling: Guide clients through the claims process, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of claims, and providing status updates as needed.

Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a calm, professional, and empathetic manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Documentation & Administration: Accurately update customer records, process policy changes, and maintain documentation according to company procedures.

Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and industry guidelines, ensuring that all customer interactions and transactions are compliant with relevant policies.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, claims, and underwriting, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and verbal) is essential.

Experience: At least 2-4 years of customer service experience, preferably in the insurance industry.

Insurance Knowledge: Basic understanding of insurance products and services (training will be provided).

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English.

Customer Focus: Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service and building lasting relationships.

Problem-Solving: Ability to handle difficult situations, manage complaints, and provide appropriate solutions.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry, documentation, and record-keeping.

Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with different departments.

Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems or customer support software.
