Picker/packer (3 month Contract), Johannesburg

The role involves daily picking of goods for sales orders, packing goods in warehouse as well as general up keep of warehouse. Requirement to attend stock take.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred
• Experience working with a RF scanner preferred
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Ability to stay on feet for long periods of time; positive attitude
• Self-motivated
• Active
• Safety conscious
• Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team but be self-motivated and independent at times.

Responsibilities:

• Picking, scanning and packing of stock – sales orders / stock requests
• Loading and unloading of goods
• Follow company procedures
• Assist in cleaning, and sorting warehouse shelves
• Attendance of stock take
• Clear criminal record
