Mobile Contract Telesales Consultant, Johannesburg

Job Summary:

We seek a dynamic and results-driven Telesales Consultant to join our sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling mobile phone contracts, data plans, and value-added cellular products to potential customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a persuasive approach, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Duties:

• Proactively contact potential customers via telephone to promote and sell mobile phone contracts, data plans, and additional cellular services.

• Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions based on product offerings.

• Explain product features, benefits, pricing, and promotions clearly and effectively.

• Handle objections professionally and confidently to convert leads into sales.

• Process sales transactions and ensure all required customer information is accurately captured.

• Maintain strong product knowledge to answer customer queries and provide the best solutions.

• Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

• Maintain a database of customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities.

• Provide exceptional customer service to build long-term customer relationships.

• Work closely with the sales team and management to align on strategies and business objectives.

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven experience in telesales, call center sales, or a similar sales role (preferably in the telecommunications industry).

• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Goal-oriented with a passion for achieving sales targets.

• Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.

• Basic computer literacy and proficiency in CRM software.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
