Procurement Coordinator – Manufacturing (Roodepoort | Hybrid)

My client, a well-established manufacturer serving industrial and commercial clients, is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join their team in Roodepoort. This is a hybrid role – with only one day a week in the office.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process: supplier sourcing, evaluations, RFQs/RFPs, price negotiations, contracts, and purchase orders.

• Monitor and report on supplier performance – ensuring on-time delivery, quality compliance, and cost competitiveness.

• Oversee inventory control and align supply with production and logistics schedules.

• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while driving cost-saving initiatives.

• Track spend trends, develop reports, and support continuous improvement in procurement efficiency.

• Coordinate logistics and inbound deliveries with operations and warehouse teams.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Management, or a related field (non-negotiable).

• 2–5 years' experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing – ideally in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong skills in negotiation, contracts, and purchase order systems; ERP or materials management system experience is a plus.

• Excellent analytical skills, with solid Excel proficiency (cost analysis, spend dashboards, inventory tracking).

• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities across cross-functional teams.
