Technical Principal Structures (Buildings), Johannesburg

An engineering, management and development consultancy based in Johannesburg is on the lookout for a Technical Principal Structures (Buildings) to join their team. The position will involve professional input to a range of projects including large multidisciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate tasks and staff

Provide support for the verification of subconsultants invoices

Asses Contractor’s claims and draft recommendations/rulings

Provide support in drafting&submitting of work authorizations

Develop and maintain existing client relationships

Assist in the financials and financial management

Assist in winning and delivering projects and new work

Mentoring graduates

Submission of EOIs, RFQ’s, tenders and Proposals

Key Requirements:

BEng degree/higher degree from an accredited university

Minimum 20 years of practical experience in the relevant discipline

Relevant Professional Registration

Experience in Etabs, SAP2000, and SAFE will be advantageous

Sound knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA)

Post graduate qualification in Structures will be advantageous
