Recruitment Manager (International Markets)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Recruitment Manager to lead and execute international talent acquisition strategies across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Western/Eastern regions.

This role requires a highly skilled recruitment professional with a strong background in global hiring, candidate mobilisation, and immigration processes. You will play a key role in sourcing top-tier talent and ensuring a seamless candidate journey from attraction to onboarding and international placement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Workforce Planning
  • Develop and implement international recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Forecast hiring needs across multiple regions and markets

Talent Acquisition

  • Source, screen, and place high-calibre candidates globally
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job requisition to offer stage

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with HR teams and hiring managers across regions
  • Provide market insights and recruitment guidance

Compliance & Immigration

  • Ensure adherence to international labour laws and hiring regulations
  • Manage visa, work permit, and immigration processes for candidate mobilisation

Systems & Reporting

  • Utilise ATS and recruitment tools to track performance metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire)
  • Generate recruitment reports and insights

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and international partners

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) with a relevant tertiary qualification preferred
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in international recruitment (Africa, Europe, Western & Eastern regions)
  • At least 2 years' experience mobilising candidates into the Middle East
  • Strong knowledge of visa processes, immigration laws, and work permits
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional candidate experience and onboarding support
  • Established candidate network/database advantageous
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (locally and internationally)
